How Would You Live Your Life If There Was No Money?

This question came to me after listening to an Alan Watts You Tube video where this phrase was asked “How would you live your life if there was no money?

Thinking about it I began to realize that I did not really have anything else I wanted to do other than to continue the rat race. The constant chase of money and nothing else. I did not realize until a few days ago how deep I was in the rabbit hole!

Then the next question that popped in my mind was if I was blinded by the illusion of money equals happiness then how many thousands if not millions of people who are still in the rabbit hole?

People who work day In and day out all day to make someone else rich. Where you have no time to spend with people and on things that make you happy. We are told throughout our lives that Money should be the only thing you should be chasing and concentrating on rather than your happiness and well being.

What if there was no such thing as money anymore?

How would you spend the time you use to chase money?

Will you just sit on the couch and become depressed?

Or will you rejoice at the fact that you no longer have to spend your precious time in worthless endeavors like working for someone else. Now you can actually concentrate on doing what you really want to do? If the time you spent chasing money is no longer valid how would you spend your time?

Would you start your own business?

Would you become a artist and become the next Picasso?

Would spend the time and become a Rudolph Valentino and spend your time romancing Women?

Would buy a Sailboat and sail around the world without a care in the world?

There are so many things you could be doing that will bring happiness and fulfillment in your life other than money. I know many of you out there think I’m crazy but think about it? If you no longer needed to make money how much will your life change? Personally I know for me my life will change tremendously if did not waste my time chasing Greenbacks all damn day! I would be able to spend time with my family, learn to paint or even sail or better yet fly a plane cross country.

Remember that life is to be lived and not wasted like the majority of us do. Running a mile a second for a piece of paper that is backed by a promise. What is that promise is broken? Then all of that time has been wasted!

Life is fleeting to be constantly working on one thing. Life is variety!

Do you know what is the secret to living a good life? It’s simple you see the secret to a good life is to live! Really live! That is all! I live to do the things I want to do whatever that thing is. To learn to teach and to love. That is all it takes.

So why bother to love money if she does not love you but makes you into a slave of her? Why would you want to live like a slave and not be a man! Imagine how the world would be?

People will become more interesting again rather than boring as most people are today. More time to ponder our thoughts and ideas that can change society over night!
